Nair for Men hair removal cream
“I read a lot of negative reviews about Nair hair removal cream for men, so I was a little hesitant to purchase it, but decided it would be worth it to try. I have hair on my back that I have been trying to get rid of for ages. It took some creative acrobatics, but I managed to smear it all over my back. The smell was good for me, at first. As time went, on it took on a weird, chemical smell – it took me back of the perms that women get in hair salons! I did not feel like I needed ventilation or anything, but it was unpleasant.
As the bottle recommended, I left it on for fifteen minutes. I want to say, this must be one of those products, which works for a number of people and not others. When I went to wipe the hair off with a washcloth, it all came off. It came off better with slow swipes, and I ended up finding that just getting in the shower to rinse was the best method. When I was finished, my back was smooth and hairless – with no skin irritation. It has been a week and I do not have any stubble yet. I’m really glad I gave it a try!”
The Bare Pair King Kombo – Body Hair Management System
“I’ve always been pretty hairy. To say I am hirsute is, to put it lightly, a huge understatement. I am absolutely covered in dark, thick, coarse hair, which seems to be off-putting to many women these days (I have tried to convince them it just means I am virile, to no avail). For years, I have looked for a removal method that actually works but that does not make me feel like peeling off my skin. After hearing about Bare Pair, I tried it; it actually does what it says it will do. There is no chemical smell, which is great because you have to leave it on for at least fifteen minutes. In addition, it does not burn, or make ingrown hairs appear later – those just make me feel worse than I do by looking like a gorilla!
The important thing to keep in mind is that if you have a lot of hair, it is going to take more than one application really to get rid of all your hair. You should also invest in a good electric grooming kit – I recommend the Philips Norelco BG2040/34 or the Philips Norelco Bodygroom (in either black or silver!) for maintenance between hair removal sessions.
So far, I have used Bare Pair on my back, my arms, and, uh…down there…all with very optimal results everywhere. Again, it may take two or three applications to get the results you are looking for. I am not using it on my legs or my chest. I have no doubt that if I wanted to, Bare Pair would give me the same results in those areas.”
Veet for Men Hair Removal Gel cream
“I’m a hairy guy, but despite the laughs, I had no intention of buying anything to try to get rid of it. However, after one laugh too many (and after the good reviews, I would read about Veet for Men) I figured out maybe it was time to try to do something about it. I was a bit hesitant due to a previous bad experience. I tried my mom’s Nair once, when I was a teenager, just to see if it would work. The smell was nearly overpowering, and what is worse, it did not really work on my coarse gorilla-man hair.
When I finally gave Veet a try, I applied a tiny amount to a small area, just to do a patch test to see if it would work and to see if my skin would hold up to it. To my pleasant surprise, Veet did not require the use of a gas mask. It smells great to me. The bottle said to wait five minutes, so I did. When I removed the test patch, to my shock, it actually worked. It was quick, it was simple, and it was complete. Veet definitely consulted with men when making this.
My faith built up, I decided to go in and tackle the rest. I spread it all over my chest and abdomen, including my nether-regions that have been warned about, both by the reviews and the label itself. I do not know what those other reviewers were talking about, but I did not have a bit of burning, and no redness. I did not find any negative effects. I even left the product on for about ten minutes in a few areas, just to make sure the hair was destroyed. Okay, I left it on for fifteen minutes in a few places. After the fifteen, I admit I felt a tiny tingly itch, but that was it. I took the Bladeless razor, scraped the areas, rinsed, and that was that. This was not a downy woman – hair either – this was the ape-man hair.
Veet for Men hair removal cream was so cheap, fast (maybe faster than) as shaving, and as effective at smoothing and completely ridding me of hair as waxing, but with no pain. I was amazed that I found something that works. I’m a customer for life.”
