Proactiv reviews from customers. Does it really work?

I have three older sisters with beautiful skin. For some reason, I don’t. My mom says I wear too much foundation on my face. I worked at Ultra, and they wanted me to wear make-up because that’s what they sold, but it really made my skin worse wearing all that make-up every day. I bought their products because I got an employee discount, but nothing worked.I finally bought the Proactive 3 step treatment plan. I figured I had already spent so much of my pay at the store and it was a waste. I wish now that I would have tried Proactive first! I don’t wear foundation, which probably helps, but in the beginning it was the Proactive that cleaned all of my pores really good. I think finally seeing my skin clear made me want to give up the make-up.

I ordered this product because I was getting bad breakout recently, and I had remembered using Proactiv a couple years back and it worked well. Although, this time it did not. I started to break out more and more, and the smell bothered me. I think my skin has issues with benzoyl peroxide because these products tend to never work for me, as well as the fact that I don’t like the smell of benzoyl peroxide. I would reccomend researching products that are good for you skin type and experiment. I will be giving this product to my cousin because she has success with benzoyl peroxide products. Proactiv is great for some people, and not for others. I have sensitive skin and would have done better with the sensitive formula. If your skin does do well with benzoyl peroxide, though, I would reccomend this product because it does a fantastic job and I’ve seen beautiful results from others, it just wasn’t my thing. The price is good for an acne product that will bring results, just make sure that your skin does will with benzoyl peroxide.

I found out about Proactive from a girl in college. She had a room on the same floor as me in the dorm and she had really great skin. My skin still was breaking out and having red hair didn’t help because I always looked red and blotchy. This one day I just blurted out that I liked her skin. She gave me some of her Proactive to use right then! I was embarrassed and grateful at the same time. Anyway, I used the stuff and it worked.Not immediately like in the commercials, but actually pretty quick, like two weeks later my pimples were gone. Even the redness that I always had without having zits, looked better. When I ran out (she had given me her stuff!) I asked her how to get it. I bought more for her and a new package for me too.

I am a 45 year old woman who has always had bad skin. Not big pimples, but lots of blackheads and even as an adult I broke out all the time. It was embarrassing because you think adults don’t get pimples, but they do! It wasn’t until my son turned 15 that I ordered Proactive for him. Unfortunately he had the same acne problem that I had as a teenager and I felt really bad for him.He begged me to buy Proactive so I did. Secretly I was thinking of trying it on my face too. Long story short, it worked. This may sound corny, but really Proactive changed my life. For me it was like a long awaited miracle. Also, my sons skin cleared up too and he’s a happier teen.

I just received my first package from proactive! I will tell you that when I opened it I WAS SHOCKED! I and looked at this in vending machines at malls and it was normal size bottles, I open this kit and they are tiny little bottles that look like motel shampoo bottles! I paid almost $40 for this thing and am not happy! The green tea moisturizer I was supposed to get is smaller than a small carmex tube (.33oz)! I have now tried to email them, the email will not send, I have tried to do their online chat with a rep, and OH imagine that- that does not work either!!! I want my money back and off there mailing list! Any suggestions how to get ahold of these people and actually get my money back? Don’t buy this – it is a RIP OFF!!!!

Okay, so I was sucked in by all the pretty faces on the Proactive commercials to start with. I don’t know if I thought the stuff would really work or not, but I felt like I needed to try it or I was going to spend the rest of my life popping pimples. So, I spent the money- it is a bit pricey- for me it was worth it. I was very diligent about using the cleanser and toner and my face cleared up almost immediately.Maybe (after reading some of these reviews) I’m just lucky or I did it right? All I know is this stuff works! After awhile I did cut down on using it in the morning- I only used the toner after my shower and did the cleansing at night, but I used the product for a good six months. I love it and think it’s worth the money.

Proactive was bought for me so I shouldn’t complain about the cost of it, but it really didn’t get rid of my pimples like I had hoped for. My mom bought it after I begged her. I thought it would really work. My skin is not oily, but I do get zits. I got so dried out and flaky looking from the stuff that I had to stop for awhile.Then when things didn’t look as patchy I’d try again but it was one vicious cycle of dryness that looked almost as bad as having pimples. It did help with blackheads on my nose so I must admit that. For the price, I wouldn’t spend the money. Or beg your parents to spend the money because it might not really help that much.
