Acne rosacea is a rare skin problem that occurs in the faces of people who are already in the middle age. Signs of this condition include eyelids becoming sore, eyes turning dry, skin becoming thick and red spots on one’s face. Rosacea is also known as acne rosacea for it has a huge resemblance to the common skin problem. However, the two conditions are different from each other and they shouldn’t be used interchangeably. You would find below more concrete signs of having rosacea.

Who acquires this condition?
People who have fair skin complexion (especially in the United Kingdom) are the ones who usually acquire acne rosacea. Women who have ages ranging from 30-50 are more prone to having this condition as well. However, individuals who are in their 20’s can have its symptoms under certain circumstances. Nevertheless, rosacea remains to be a non-threatening condition for everyone. It’s a problem that can easily be solved in no time.
Rosacea has no definite cause. However, here are some factors that can explain as to why this condition happens to a few people:
- The genetic makeup of an individual
- Inflammation caused by unusual skin immune reactions
- Demodex folliculorum which is a small smite that is found in the skin of patients who have rosacea
- Skin damage due to too much exposure from the sun
