Most people feel that they can’t follow any diet program because they are so afraid in losing delicious taste they always have. This will help you in having the right portion of food you eat without losing its taste.
1. Find your foods nutrition label. Find out what kind of nutrition you will get, its amount, and the calorie amount. Continue practicing this and you will understand what kind of nutrition you will give to your body
2. Purchase some measuring cups and spoons. You can use them to measure your food serving each time you want to eat.
3. Find some objects which you can use as size comparation, so you can know how much food you are going to eat.
4. Try to pack your foods based on calories amount unit. This will help you to know how much calories you will give to your body before eating the food.
5. Most foods served at restaurant and hotels are served at double portion, whether you realize this or not. However, to keep your portion control running, you can ask the server to give you a box where you can place half of your food in it. You can bring this food later
Portion control is very beneficial in helping people who want to lose their body weight. However, success rate of portion control is strongly determined by how strong your willingness is. Everything will be useless if you are not willingfully enough to follow this program. When you decide to follow this program, you may need some time before get used to the program especially because this program asks you to control your eating habit. This is not an easy task especially for certain people like food lover.
