Does Proactiv solution really work?

Best-Skin-Care-Routine
Proactiv is basically one of the leading brands in the world of anti acne products. They claim to have milder items that would give you faster results this time around. However, this important question remains: Are they really effective? Below are some products from Proactiv that you can choose from.

Summary:

Proactive states that their creations have fewer side effects now and that they can give you the results that you want.

Their Body Pads can effectively close and open your pores to facilitate better circulation on your face.

Their Repairing Treatment is something that is between mild and strong. It is a cheaper alternative to the Advanced Blemish Treatment which comes from the same brand.

Their Conceal Plus Sulfur item has 6% sulfur content that can cause you to have skin irritation but can eliminate all the bacteria which can be found on your face.

Their Advanced Blemish Treatment has 6% benzoyl peroxide which is good in removing the bacteria in your acnes but has a stronger effect on your delicate skin. It can give you blemishes and can cause your skin to flake, become dry, red, itch and sting.
Their Deep Cleansing Wash is a luxurious option because it has salicylic acid that you can judge for yourself.
Overall, proactiv products are not that great but then, the effects of these items would depend on the skin of the person who is using them.

Client reviews

Acne would always be a mysterious thing for me. This product may have gained a lot of negative comments in the Web but it remains effective on me.

At the age of 19, I took the risk in buying Proactiv. I’m 22 now and I can say that the item has satisfied me all throughout the years. It’s worth your money and it’s worth applying on your skin. However, I can say that it doesn’t work well in severe acne cases.

It may not have eliminated my acnes completely and made my skin more sensitive but it’s still worth the try.

Aside from Proactiv, I’m using the Pura d’or Organic Acne Treatment Solution now and I actually find it to be more effective than Proactiv. It’s organic and natural and it doesn’t make my skin sensitive which is a great feature for me. It helps me avoid acnes and it’s something that I apply on my face on a regular basis.

I used to have a flaky and dry type of skin when I was a teenager maybe because I took all my prescription medicines which are really strong for my young age. All of those medicines were basically useless which made me see Proactiv as a blessing in disguise. My skin is very sensitive and this product has somehow made my skin look better. However, I’m not totally impressed by it since it made my skin look really red as if I was bathing in my own blood. It doesn’t have a consistent effect on my acnes as well.
If you’re someone who has sensitive skin like mine, I suggest that you use tea tree oil. Look for one that is 100% Australian.

I started using this product only about a year ago. I’m also applying the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser on my face and I can say that I have come up with an amazing combo right there. With these two products, I was completely pimple free for a whole year. On the other hand, if you still opt to use proactiv, then I would suggest that you apply a moisturizer on your skin as well. This would surely make your skin less sensitive. By the way, proactive is fairly cheap so it would surely fit your budget. Check it out during your free time.
